Scooters are becoming more and more popular in India with sales rising every month. This has prompted many new brands to enter the Indian market. Multiple Chinese brands are trying to enter India and the latest one is ZNEN which has tied-up with Royal Touch Motors based in Aurangabad for sale and service of their vehicles in India. The company is in the process of introducing five models in the market.

The major problem is that with very established players in the market, attracting customers isn’t easy. Hence, Royal Touch has come up with a unique proposition. All the products sold by them can be run on CNG as well as petrol. While CNG as a fuel is used extensively for cars and buses in many parts of India, this would be the first time when two-wheelers get it. It would drive down the already low running cost of scooters and make it a good option for those looking at very low operating costs.

The scooter lineup consists of five models which have engines ranging from 50cc to 150cc. The Royal Touch Revival will be the most affordable offering from the brand and will be powered by a 50cc engine which is very low displacement indeed. The 125cc engine will be offered with the Legend and Aurora, both of which are retro-styled scooters. They get multiple chrome elements to give that premium look but they do look tacky in the pictures.

The Roar 4 and Vista scooters will come equipped with a 150cc engine producing 9.6 PS of power which will make them one of the most powerful scooters until the power scooters from Hero and Honda arrive sometime next year. The bikes offered by the brand will be the Prince T and Storm. Both will be powered by a 125cc engine in different tunes. Prices of the scooters range from Rs. 44,525/- to Rs. Rs. 75,990/- while the bikes are priced at Rs. 54,600/- for the Prince T and Rs. 96,525/- for the Storm (all prices ex-showroom).
