Honda has just launched the facelift of the Amaze in India last month. Following its rejuvenation trail, Honda Indonesia has come out of the closet by introducing the new Brio Satya facelift with new appealing looks and features. The hatchback has been smartly worked on for its exteriors by Honda. It now has an all new face grille with an updated front bumper which gives the Brio an absolute aggressive look.

The fog lamp enclosures have been enlarged with the wider air intakes. Also, the day time running lights add more to the new package. On the rear side, the Brio has more or less the same appearance with minor detailing in the tail lamps along with a thick chrome flange between the tail lamps.

The facelifted Honda Brio is powered by the same 1.2-litre four-cylinder SOHC i-VTEC engine. The power figures have marginally improved from 88 BHP to 90 BHP with an overall increase in the torque from 109 Nm to 110 Nm. Incorporated with Earth Dreams technology for CVT automatic transmission and the Euro 4 rated engine, the new Brio facelift has been classified as “Green Cars Deals” in Indonesia. The Brio also has an option for 5-speed manual transmission gearbox for the conventional drivers.

The interiors of the 2016 Honda Brio cannot be just simply ignored. The all new revived dual-tone dashboard for the Brio looks a lot more identical with the Jazz but still gives it a groovy and premium appearance. The conditioning control and the audio control console have LCD display and looks fresh and different.

The Honda Brio facelift is available in three variants, namely E, S and RS. The RS variant being the top-end variant comes with CVT and few exclusive exterior as well as interior features. The Brio facelift is priced from IDR 129.4 million (Rs. 6.54 lakhs) for Satya manual to IDR 174.7 million (Rs. 8.8 lakh) for the RS variant having an automatic gearbox.
