The K8 variant gets better aesthetics with larger wheels and a dual tone paint job

Mahindra has launched an updated version of the KUV100 and it comes with some changes, as we had reported earlier. The 2017 Mahindra KUV100 is priced from Rs. 4.58-6.37 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The vehicle gets mostly cosmetic changes and some of the mechanicals have been re-worked based on customer feedback.

First up, the ECU map has been tweaked so that the car sips lesser fuel, on the petrol variants. The NVH levels are also said to be improved by tweaking the engine mounts. Talking about the exteriors, the K8 variant of the car now comes with a dual tone colour theme – Flamboyant Red or Dazzling Silver body colour with a Metallic Black roof. The interiors get a black colour scheme now.

The K8 variant also gets 15-inch alloy wheels now while the K6 and K6+ variants get 14-inch spider alloy wheels. Mahindra is now offering a bunch of customisation packs for the car, namely Sporty exterior & interior kits and Premium exterior & interior kits.

There are no changes to either of the engines. The Mahindra KUV100 is offered with 1.2-litre mFalcon D75 diesel and 1.2-litre mFalcon G80 petrol engines, offered with a 5-speed manual transmission. The Mahindra KUV100 competes with the Maruti Ignis, Hyundai Grand i10 and Chevrolet Beat.
