2017 Pulsar 200 NS Review
The Indian-spec Pulsar 200 NS is powered by a 199cc single-cylinder motor that delivers 23.5 HP of power

The 2017 Pulsar 200 NS has been launched in Turkey at an approx price of Rs. 1.5 lakhs. Bajaj has given the Turkey-spec Pulsar 200 NS more features and more power.

The Pulsar 200 NS gets dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and fuel injection which is badly missed on the India-spec model. In fact, the Indian market too had expected these features to make it on the Pulsar 200 NS, when Bajaj launched it earlier this year.

Powering the Pulsar 200 NS is a 194.4cc (199cc for the Indian-spec Pulsar 200 NS) single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that punches out 24.5 HP of power (23.5 HP for the Indian-spec Pulsar 200 NS) and 18.3 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed transmission and the motorcycle tips the scales at 145 kgs (India-spec Pulsar 200 NS weighs 152 kgs).

The India-spec Pulsar NS 200 is not only heavier but is also less powerful. However, there is no information from Bajaj whether they will be giving these feature updates to the 200 NS sold in India. If Bajaj does, then it’s a welcome move but it seems highly unlikely.
