The 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is expected to be more edgy, flashy and a worthy competitor to Honda CBR250RR.

Kawasaki Ninja 300 Rendered
Japan’s Young Machine magazine has rendered the 2018 Ninja 300/250

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been on sale since 2013 without any major update. Kawasaki has been testing the updated Ninja 300 and the motorcycle has been spotted a number of times. Kawasaki is expected to launch the next generation Ninja 300 later this year.

Japan’s Young Machine magazine has managed to create a render of the new Ninja 300 out of the spy images. The new Ninja 300 draws inspiration from its bigger sibling, the Ninja 650 and looks like a smaller Ninja 650. The sleeker headlamp and fairing design does resemble the Ninja 650. The new Ninja 300 also boasts of up-side down forks upfront and sleeker looking LED headlamps.

The 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is expected to be offered with a new instrument console, dual channel ABS and ride-by-wire throttle. Kawasaki hasn’t yet disclosed any details of the bike yet. There are rumours that Kawasaki might offer a 4-cylinder engine but that seems very unlikely. Once launched, the updated Ninja 300 will rival the Honda CBR250RR and Yamaha R3.
