The 2018 Hyundai i30 has been spied testing on Indian roads yet again. MotorBeam reader Abdul Rahim spotted the car testing and clicked the pictures for us. While the Korean carmaker hasn’t yet confirmed the India launch of the premium hatchback, it is unlikely to be launched here. Globally, the i30 slots between the Elite i20 and the Creta. Hyundai could actually be testing the i30 for the global markets in India due to our diverse road and climatic conditions.

Going by the registration plate, this seems to be the same i30 that was spotted a few weeks back. The test mule is completely undisguised and wears a white paint scheme. To start things off, visually, the 2018 Hyundai i30 gets the signature cascade effect grille flanked by projector headlights on either side. The LED DRLs have been housed where the fog lights are supposed to be and the premium hatchback gets diamond-cut alloy wheels. The LED tail-lights, black roof-mounted spoiler and the dual-tone bumper complete the looks of the vehicle.

The 2018 Hyundai i30 gets a well-appointed cabin which is brimmed with features. There is an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, multi-function steering wheel, rear-view camera, push-button start, power adjustable driver’s seat, adaptive cruise control, 7-airbags, ESC, Vehicle Stability Management and blind spot monitoring. The test mule wears a 1.6D badge which means it is powered by a 1.6-litre diesel engine. Apart from the 1.6-litre diesel, the Hyundai i30 also draws power from a range of petrol engines ranging from 1.0 to 2.0-litre.
