2018 TVS Apache 200 is now available in new colours, bike gets no mechanical changes.

TVS has updated the colour palette of the 2018 Apache RTR 200 4V. The bike is now available in the following colours – Black with Red, Grey with Neon Yellow, Red with Black, White with Red and Matte Black with Red. The new colours follow a similar pattern of the Apache 200 Race Edition 2.0.

The company recently updated the Apache 200 4V (called the Race Edition 2.0) and as part of the update, the bike gained a slipper clutch (Anti-Reverse Torque slipper clutch) and a larger flyscreen above the headlamp. Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged. It still continues to draw power from a 197.75cc single-cylinder 4-valve engine that produces 20.5 PS (in the Carb variant) and 21 PS (in the FI variant) of power and 18.1 Nm of torque. The powertrain comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Prices for the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V start at Rs. 95,685/- for the standard variant while the FI and ABS variants are priced at Rs. 1,08,385/- and Rs. 1,09,485/- (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). The Apache 200 is the first bike in its segment to offer a dual-channel ABS (as optional) and a slipper clutch. The bike takes on the Pulsar NS 200 and the upcoming Hero Xtreme 200R.
