The upcoming Hyundai Santro’s price has been leaked ahead of its launch on October 23. The 2019 Hyundai Santro price will start from Rs. 3.88 lakhs for the base variant and goes up to Rs. 5.39 lakhs for the top-spec CNG variant.
The 2019 Santro comes in nine different configurations which include five variants, two engine options and two transmission choices. The Santro’s price falls between its rivals Tata Tiago and Maruti Celerio which are priced from Rs. 3.40 lakhs and Rs. 4.21 lakhs respectively.
The Santro will be powered by a 1.1-litre petrol engine that produces 69 PS and 99 Nm of torque. While the Magna and Sportz variants will have the option of a 1.1-litre petrol-CNG engine that generates 59 PS and 84 Nm of torque. The petrol engine models will have a fuel economy of 20.3 km/l (ARAI certified).
However, these are not the final prices but we can expect the price to be very close to these numbers. Hyundai is all set to launch the all-new Santro and expect to rule the market again like they did 20 years ago.
