Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 will be launched tomorrow along with 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 150.
2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 will be launched tomorrow (20th May), but it will also share the podium with the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 150. The new-gen avatar of the Gixxer SF 150 will be quite similar to its quarter-litre sibling. This means that the 150cc bike will get a sportier and sleeker design.
The bike will get a sharper protruding nose, with a new aggressive headlamp set-up. It will also get split-seats, a chrome-accented double-barrel exhaust and clip-on handlebars to add on to the sporty charisma of the bike. It is seen with an all-black paint scheme and is likely to sport a new set of graphics.
Suzuki won’t update the engine of the Gixxer SF 150 and it will come powered by the same 154.9cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This engine manages to produce 14.5 BHP at 8000 RPM and 14 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. It will be mated to the same 5-speed gearbox and suspension set-up.
The Japanese automaker will offer the quarter-litre Gixxer SF 250 with a new 249cc, single cylinder, oil-cooled, 4-valve SOHC powerhouse. This engine will produce 26.5 PS at 9000 RPM and 22.6 Nm at 7500 RPM and will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Prices of both the bikes have also been leaked and the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 will cost Rs. 1.09 lakhs and the Gixxer SF 250 is priced at Rs. 1.70 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom).
