2019 Suzuki GSX-S300 will be a naked bike from Suzuki for the global market.
Earlier this year in April, the patent images of Suzuki GSX-S300 were leaked. The bike is known as Haojue’s HJ300 in China. Now the production-ready bike carries many design similarities from the bike in the leaked images. Suzuki replaces the DR300 badging of the Haojue’s HJ300 to GSX-S300 for the global market.
The bike is rumoured to get a parallel twin, liquid-cooled, 299cc engine. The power figures from this engine are expected to be around 30 HP and 25 Nm. The bike will be mated to a 6-speed transmission. It will be equipped with petal disc in front along with ABS, upside down forks and an aluminium swingarm.
The 2019 Suzuki GSX-S300 is expected to be showcased at INTERMOT and EICMA this year. However, the bike is not expected to make its way to Indian shores as Suzuki is developing a 250cc single cylinder bike for the Indian market. This 250cc bike is expected to be named as Gixxer 250 and will take on the Yahama FZ25.
