The fifth generation Honda City was supposed to be introduced in the Indian market by the first week of April. The launch has been deferred by the Japanese carmaker due to the ongoing pandemic in the country.
A leaked brochure reveals the new features and details of the top-spec Honda City. The sedan gets LED headlight, LED tail lights, leather seats and powered sunroof.

The reverse camera will come along with Lane Watch camera, it is a feature that has been borrowed from the Civic. It has a camera on the left ORVM to keep track of the blind spot.
The City will come with a new 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with Alexa Remote compatibility. Honda Connect app based connected car tech will be offered too.
The instrument cluster is semi-analogue with 7.0-inch HD, full-colour MID. The climate control system is no more touch sensitive, it gets the traditional knobs.
The brochure says it will be the longest and widest car in its segment so expect even better cabin space. It will be offered with BS6-compliant 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. The diesel will be offered with CVT auto transmission as well.
