The RS5 Sportback is yet another Audi that comes with a sticker price which is around Rs. 1 crore
Audi India has introduced the RS5 Sportback in India with a price tag of Rs. 1.04 crore (ex-showroom and introductory), today.
The model year 2022 RS5 Sportback is one aggressive-looking performance vehicle that has a long bonnet, sloping roofline and a short tail.
It features a single-frame grille, Matrix LED headlights, split LED tail lamps, dynamic turn indicators, flared wheel arches, 19-inch alloy wheels, RS bumpers, frameless doors, and a lip spoiler.
Audi will sell the performance car in India in the following colour choices – Daytona Grey, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Nardo Gray, Navarra Blue, Sonoma Green, Tango Red and Turbo Blue.
Inside, customers who dish out the Audi RS5 Sportback price will be treated to a sporty interior (in Black and Rock Gray, Alcantara/leather) that is practical as well as loaded with the latest goodies.
Some of the features the performance sedan comes with include sports seats (with massage and driver side memory functions), 3-zone air-conditioning, Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch, auto-dimming IRVM, panoramic sunroof and electrically operable boot lid.
Power comes from a 2.9-litre twin turbocharged V6 that puts out 450 HP and 600 Nm of torque. An 8-speed automatic gearbox and the quattro system with self-locking center differential transfer the motor’s power effectively to the wheels.
As a result, the car which weighs 1795 kg can do the 0-100 km/hr sprint in 3.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 250 km/hr.
Should the driver wish, there are 2 RS modes on offer that can be selected through the steering wheel (with shift paddles). They change the characteristics of the engine, transmission and steering.
The car also has sports suspension, RS brakes (steel) and more functions such as cruise control, Parking Aid Plus, Hold Assist, along with ample safety features.
