2022 Bajaj Dominar 400 Flyscreen
Although it will add additional wind protection, the new flyscreen does not suit the motorcycle

The 2022 Bajaj Dominar 400 spotted recently does not seem have undergone any mechanical changes

Could Bajaj be looking to update the Dominar 400 for 2022? A recently spotted uncamouflaged model suggests as much.

Bajaj surprised many by reducing the asking price of the Dominar 250 by nearly Rs. 17,000/- on Tuesday in order to give it a better shot at succeeding in the coming months.

Having done so, the manufacturer seems to have turned its attention toward the bigger Dominar, which outsells the quarter litre model every month.

For 2022, the Bajaj Dominar 400 is set to receive a large flyscreen (could it be that Bajaj took inspiration from bikers who fitted a larger flyscreen to the naked machine?) which is tinted.

The 2022 Bajaj Dominar 400 spotted recently also had knuckle guards, which had their lower parts painted in body colour (this example being Aurora Green), while the bolt-on upper parts were tinted, like the flyscreen.

The parts might be offered as optional extras with the 2022 Dominar 250 as well

Both parts might be offered as optional extras. It also looks like the seat fabric of the naked motorcycle has been upgraded, but, we can’t be sure about that at present.

No other changes can be seen on the motorcycle which should remain unchanged mechanically and come powered by a 373cc motor putting out 40 PS max power and 35 Nm of peak torque.

While rolling out these updates, Bajaj might give everyone a pleasant shock once again by reducing the asking price of the Dominar 400 which currently retails for Rs. 2.11 lakhs (ex-showroom).
