For the price, the 2022 Hero Maestro Edge 125 comes with the latest features
Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated 2022 Maestro Edge 125 with a price tag of Rs. 72,250/- (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base drum variant, in India.
For model year 2022 the Maestro Edge gains a projector LED headlight, a digital instrument panel and Bluetooth connectivity (pairing with Passkey) through which call alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation can be accessed.
In addition, the updated 125cc scooter also gets ‘Hero Connect’, which adds features such as theft alert, track my vehicle, trip analysis, find my parking, among others, as standard.
Hero has also made changes to the design of the headlamp section which now features new panels and a tiny flyscreen-esque element. The mirrors have been changed too. Other panels have been untouched, but there are new graphics on the scooter.
What has also changed are the colour choices. The drum brake variant can be had in Candy Blazing Red, Matt Techno Blue, Panther Black and Pearl Silver White shades, while the ‘Connected’ variant gets Prismatic Purple and Prismatic Yellow options.
On the other hand, customers can choose between 6 paint choices such as Candy Blazing Red, Matt Techno Blue, Panther Black, Pearl Silver White, Prismatic Purple and Prismatic Yellow if they opt for the disc variant.
Powering the updated Maestro Edge 125 is a 124.6cc engine that puts out a maximum of 9 BHP and 10.4 Nm of peak torque. This should prove enough for everyday commutes as the scooter only weighs between 111 kg (drum variant) and 122 kg (disc variant)
