Honda has introduced the model year 2022 BR-V which comes with a completely new design and advanced technology, in Indonesia, today.

Sporting SUV styling, the second-generation BR-V was showcased earlier this year as the New 7 Seater eXcitement (or N7X) concept in the Southeast Asian country to gauge the response of customers.

According to Honda, the 2022 BR-V has been designed to combine the toughness of an SUV and the cabin comfort and functionality of an MPV.

Up front, the 2022 Honda BR-V comes with LED headlamps with LED DRLs, a neat grille which is not oversized, a long, yet simple bonnet, and an aggressive bumper which incorporates a skid plate.

Along the sides, the car has a character line that extends from the headlights to the stop lamps, while there are roof rails, new 17-inch alloy wheels, and enough body cladding.

At the rear, the 2022 Honda BR-V features split LED tail lights, a long tail gate, large windscreen and a short bumper with a skid plate. And yes, there is a roof spoiler too.

The car will be offered with 5 colour choices including Crystal Black Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Premium Opal White Pearl (new) and Taffeta White, in Indonesia.

Inside, Honda has given the SUV a dashboard that resembles the cockpit of the Amaze compact sedan. The car’s instrument cluster has analogue dials and a 4.2-inch TFT display, while the infotainment touchscreen measures 7 inches across.

Both the first and second row passengers get an armrest, all 3 rows get their own power outlets, the third rows have 50:50 split and there are plentiful storage spaces along with as many as 8 bottle holders.

In terms of safety, the 2022 Honda BR-V comes equipped with parking sensors, multiple airbags, ABS, EBD, ISOFIX plus Tether, Hill Start Assist (HSA), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), and, in addition, the Honda SENSING driver-assist technology is also on offer.
