The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure and 250 Adventure get new colours and wheels

KTM has globally unveiled the model year 2022 (MY) 390 Adventure and 250 Adventure. Both motorcycles have received their first update since launch.

The obvious change is with the colour options of the motorcycle, that have been updated to match the new generation RC models from KTM.

The motorcycle has also received new 10-spoke alloy wheels and 2 new traction control modes, namely, “Street” and “Off-road”. Further, the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure’s traction control now does not reset in the event of a fall, unlike before.

No other changes have been made to the motorcycle. It continues to use full-LED lights, a digital instrument cluster, a steel trellis frame, WP Apex suspension, among other things.

Power comes from a 373cc, single-cylinder engine making 43 BHP and 37 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with an anti-hopping clutch.

New colours do lend a fresh appeal to the motorcycles

The MY22 250 Adventure from the Austrian bike manufacturer has also been given new colourways such as Blue and White; and Orange and White.

Similarly, it also gets the same new alloy wheels, and that is about it when it comes to the updates that this model has received.

The quarter litre adventure motorcycle is powered by a 248.8cc motor delivering 29.5 BHP of maximum power and 24 Nm torque. It is teamed to a 6-speed gearbox with an anti-hopping clutch.

Sporting the same suspension and brakes as the 390 Adventure, the 250 Adventure does not feature the complex electronics and also weighs 2 kg less at 156 kg (dry).

Since KTM has not listed these adventure motorcycles on its Indian website, the launch of the 2022 models should be right around the corner.
