BMW Raises Chennai Plant Capacity

BMW India has increased capacity from 6000 to 10,000 units per year at its Chennai facility. The German automaker assembles the 3-Series, 5-Series and X1 SUV at its local facility in the country and plans to assemble the upcoming X3 SUV as well.
