Triumph has just launched the new Street Triple 765 RX in India, and honestly, this thing feels like it was built for people who love riding purely for the thrill of it. Priced at Rs. 13.91 lakh (ex-showroom), the RX is basically a more hardcore version of the already crazy Street Triple RS. It’s sharper, more aggressive and even more track-focused. Plus, Triumph says this version will only be produced till the end of 2026, which instantly makes it feel more special.

The first thing you notice about the RX is how serious it looks. The matte silver paint scheme mixed with the red subframe gives it proper race-bike vibes, and the clip-on handlebars completely change the motorcycle’s personality. Unlike the regular Street Triple which still feels slightly comfortable and street-friendly, the RX puts you in a more leaned-in riding position. The moment you sit on it, you can tell this motorcycle wants to be ridden hard.

The 765cc inline three-cylinder engine on this bike is already loved by riders across the world because it’s ridiculously fun. It makes 130 BHP and 80 Nm of torque, but the best part isn’t even the numbers. It’s the way the engine delivers power. The bike feels smooth at lower speeds, but once you start opening it up, it completely changes character. The exhaust note gets louder, the acceleration becomes addictive and suddenly every empty road starts feeling like a racetrack.

Triumph has also added some serious hardware to make the RX feel even sharper. You now get premium Öhlins front suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes and super sticky Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres. Basically, all the expensive performance parts riders usually dream about are already factory-fitted here. This is the kind of motorcycle that feels happiest while attacking corners or flying through twisty roads early in the morning.

What’s nice though is that the RX still doesn’t feel completely unusable on normal roads. Yes, the riding posture is more aggressive now, but underneath it still has the same playful Street Triple DNA. It’s still compact, quick and confidence-inspiring. So while experienced riders will definitely enjoy taking it to a track day, it’s also the kind of bike that can make even a short weekend ride feel exciting.

The Street Triple has always had a reputation for being one of the most fun middleweight motorcycles in the world, and this RX version just pushes that idea even further. It doesn’t feel like a motorcycle designed to impress people with big specs on paper. Instead, it feels like Triumph focused on making every single ride more emotional, louder and more exciting.
