After the huge success at the Buddh International Circuit, the German Automaker has now eyed the South Indian ‘Idli and Sambhar’. Audi has finally launched its unique driving program at the Madras Motorsport Race Track in Chennai. The event, known as the Audi Sportscar Experience (ACE), was earlier launched this year at BIC and was thronged by the sportscar enthusiasts who got an opportunity to drive the Audi R8 V10 on the racing circuit. The two sessions saw an overwhelming response and this has forced the company to take the experience to the South.

The Audi Sportscar Experience in Chennai is being conducted in association with JK Tyres from 18th to 21st of October, 2012. Enthusiasts will get the unique opportunity to understand, drive and experience the technology behind the Audi R8 V10. There would be a series of training modules being conducted by internationally acclaimed instructors. The presence of a fleet of Audi R8 V10 cars needs no mention. Ace Indian driver, Karun Chandhok, and Aditya Patel, winner of the 24 hours of Nürburgring will be present at the event to guide the participants.

The event will have two phases – Audi racetrack experience and Audi racetrack experience advanced. The phase one will focus on enhancing the driver’s skills like handling, steering, braking, etc. Only those who are deemed eligible will move to phase two where the focus would be more on understanding the racing line, over and under steer and regularity tests so that the drivers can master the track. The company has offered packages for this experience too.

The packages are (exclusive of all taxes) –
