Despite being similar to the Pulsar RS 200 cosmetically, the Pulsar RS 400 is expected to be built completely on the Dominar platform.

As the Bajaj Dominar 400 has currently acquired all the news section of various automobile portals, we would like to turn your focus towards the expected faired sibling of the Dominar 400. If you remember now, it is the Pulsar RS 400. We know Bajaj from years, and we are pretty sure that they won’t stop at the cruiser segment and will further extend the list with a sports sibling. Based on the same platform, the Pulsar RS 400 will be a more energetic version of it.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS 400 was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo which managed to gather a lot of crowd around it. Moreover, we had also sighted a few spied images of the Pulsar RS 400 which was on a test spin. Cosmetically, it looks like a clone of the Pulsar RS 200 but, with the 400cc mill, it will probably carry all the specifications closely similar to the Dominar 400.

Expect it to run on the same 373.3cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor utilised by the Dominar 400 as well as the Duke and RC 390 siblings. Power may be boosted up as per the segment it will serve, we predict it to be around 40 PS. On the safety front, dual-channel ABS is quite obvious looking at the specifications list of the D400. Slipper clutch wouldn’t be missed by Bajaj for its high-end sports bike offering.

The chiseled faring design and all other bits of aggression will be retained from the Pulsar RS 200. It won’t be wrong to make prior estimations of price to be little over the Dominar 400, somewhere between Rs. 1.70 to 1.80 lakhs (ex-showroom).
