Bajaj Auto has commenced the production of their new flagship motorcycle Dominar 400. The bike will be launched by mid-December in India.

Bajaj Auto is all set to unleash the much awaited Dominar 400 next month. The new flagship motorcycle from Bajaj has entered production and the first production batch has been rolled off by an all-women assembly line at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan plant.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 will be the most powerful bike ever from the Indian two-wheeler maker. The Pulsar brand was launched 15 years back in 2001 and it is dominating the segment since then. Bajaj expects similar success with the Dominar brand and expects it to be the market leader for the coming decade.

Powering the Bajaj Dominar is a Duke 390 borrowed 373.2cc engine which produces 35 PS at 8000 RPM. The bike is will come with an expected top speed of 160 km/hr. ABS will be provided optionally with the Dominar and it will be launched with an expected price of Rs. 1.85 lakhs (on-road) by mid-December.
