With the safety norms into effect for two-wheelers, manufacturers are updating their scooters and motorcycles with CBS and ABS as the mandate. Bajaj has also updated the Pulsar NS 160 with a single-channel ABS unit. With the addition of ABS, the Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 ABS price is Rs. 92,595/- making it Rs. 6656/- more expensive than the non-ABS variant.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 ABS will now sit below the Pulsar 180F ABS. Bajaj had introduced the Pulsar 180F without ABS, selling at a lower price point but the manufacturer has now updated the 180F with ABS which also saw an increase in price.

Coming to the engine, the NS 160 is powered by a 160.3cc, single-cylinder engine which makes 15.5 HP at 8500 RPM and 14.6 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension setup includes telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is performed via a 240 mm disc on the front and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear. There have been no mechanical changes made to the motorcycle otherwise. The non-ABS version of the NS160 will be available with dealers until the stocks last.
