Benelli TNT 300 Test Ride Review
The Benelli TNT 300 rivals the Kawasaki Z250 and the KTM Duke 390 in the segment

Benelli made a storming entry earlier this year with five offerings including the TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT 600 GT, TNT 899 and TNT 1130. Making its performance lineup even more exciting for customers, the Italian bike maker has now launched official aftermarket accessories for its performance bikes and will be selling them via their nine current dealerships. At present, Benelli India is offering the Ixil exhaust for the TNT 300 and TNT 600i motorcycles in its range.

Available in different types, the Ixil exhaust is priced between Rs. 18,000/- going up to Rs. 23,000/- for the TNT 300 while the one for the TNT 600i will set you back by Rs. 47,000/-. These exhausts though are not full exhaust systems and rather slip-on canisters. As an official accessory, Benelli will get the aftermarket exhaust fitted on to your bike without affecting the warranty on the engine. It is still unclear as to what kind of performance upgrade does the Ixil slip-on exhaust bring to the table apart from being lighter than the stock unit and boasting of a better aural note.

In its stock guise, the Benelli TNT 300 uses a 300cc liquid-cooled, in-line, twin-cylinder engine that produces 38.26 BHP and 26.5 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The TNT 600i, on the other hand, uses a 600cc in-line 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor producing 85.07 BHP and 54.6 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The Chinese owned manufacturer will be bringing more accessories officially in the future. Make sure to check out the sound of the Ixil exhaust on the TNT 300 in this video below uploaded by Benelli Ahmedabad.
