The Besturn X80 combines styling elements of a lot of cars

Chinese cars have always been known to be rip-offs of popular premium cars available across the globe. One such Chinese car has been spotted in India and it is nothing but the Besturn X80. The Besturn X80 is a concoction made out of a lot of design elements that seem to be inspired from Hyundai, SsangYong and Infiniti.

As seen in the picture, the vehicle was being transported somewhere on a flat-bed towing truck. The Besturn X80 is produced by a company called Faw Car Limited. The front of the vehicle comes with styling elements borrowed from a lot other vehicles. However, it does make use of modern tech like projector headlamps and LEDs.

The interiors have a good layout but again the design of the instrument cluster does ring some bells. The SUV comes loaded with features like auto AC, infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, steering-mounted controls, 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, front seats with electric warming function and a lot more.

Under the hood, the Besturn X80 is powered by a 1.8-litre petrol engine and a 2.0-litre oil-burner. The petrol engine comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox while the diesel engine gets a 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission, the same one that is used on the Mahindra XUV500. It is not clear why the SUV has been imported to India and neither are there any details of the importer available.
