BMW 6 Series limited edition launched in India ahead of the festive season
BMW India has introduced a special edition 6 Series GT M Sport Signature in India with a price tag of Rs. 75.90 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is exclusively available in the 630i variant, which is assembled locally at their Chennai plant. The special edition will be available in limited units, can be booked exclusively on their website.
The BMW 6 Series GT M Sport Signature is available in these colour options – Mineral White, Tanzanite Blue, Skyscraper Grey and Carbon Black. The interior comes with Leather ‘Dakota’ Cognac with exclusive stitching and piping in contrast and Black combination. Special Backrest Cushions for Rear Seats.
BMW Laserlight is equipped with this special edition which distributes light up to 650 metres along with Adaptive functionality. Next up are the Comfort Seats that offer fully electric seat adjustment with memory function and lumbar support on the driver as well as passenger side.
The interior gets Crystal Door Pins adding to the premium interior looks. It also comes with soft-close door function along with Comfort access system, which offers features like keyless entry, automatic locking, contactless opening of tailgate, etc.
BMW has equipped this edition with Rear-seat Entertainment Professional as well which comprises two 10.25-inch touchscreen monitors with full-HD, Blu-ray player, screen mirroring function and two USB ports.
The car comes with 12.3-inch fully-digital digital instrument display and bigger 12.3-inch Control Display. It features BMW Gesture Control that recognises six pre-defined hand movements for control of a number of functions. You also get BMW Display Key with Remote Control Parking function for ease of parking from your key itself.
Some of the safety features include 6 airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and Electronic Differential Lock Control (EDLC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobiliser and crash sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounting and emergency spare wheel.
It is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 258 HP and 400 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It does 0-100 km/hr in 6.5 seconds.
