The design language seems to be similar to the current-gen CB Hornet 160R in India.

Honda New Bike Patent
It could join the CB300R and CB1000R in Honda’s neo-retro-styled line-up in India

The design of a new neo-retro motorcycle built on the Honda CB Hornet 160R platform has leaked online. The drawings show the upcoming bike’s design and mechanicals without revealing any specifications. Though the design seems to be based on Honda’s new neo-retro theme, the mechanics seem to be similar to the current-gen CB Hornet 160R in India.

Even the powertrain matches that of the Hornet 160R in India. It’s air-cooled, not liquid-cooled like the CB125R sold abroad. It sits on a single-downtube frame that appears nearly identical to the Hornet’s. The motorcycle also has the same wheel design and petal-type disc brake rotors. However, what’s different is the USD fork in the patent bike.

There is one other possibility, that Honda could bring in this bike with the USD fork as a more premium option that will sit above the traditional 160 cc offerings, but well below rivals like the KTM Duke 125 and the Yamaha MT-15.
