Ferrari has launched the Amalfi Spider in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.60 crore. It is the convertible version of the Amalfi coupe, giving buyers the same performance with the added thrill of open-top driving.
One look at the Blu Tour de France shade, and it’s hard not to fall in love. The deep blue paint gives the Amalfi Spider an elegant yet sporty look, while the beige leather interior creates a beautiful contrast, making the cabin feel even more premium.
The biggest highlight, of course, is its electrically operated five-layer soft top, which opens or closes in just 13.5 seconds, even at speeds of up to 60 km/h. Ferrari says the specially designed roof also offers excellent sound insulation, keeping the cabin surprisingly quiet even with the fabric roof in place.
Powering the Amalfi Spider is a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that produces 640 HP and 760 Nm of torque. Paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, it can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and go on to a top speed of over 320 km/h.
Inside you get a triple screen setup with a 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, an 8.8-inch passenger display, and powered sports seats. Ferrari has also brought back physical buttons on the steering wheel, something enthusiasts have been asking for.
The Amalfi Spider costs around Rs 52 lakh more than the standard coupe, but if you want to enjoy that Ferrari V8 soundtrack with the roof down, this is the one to have. And in that stunning blue paint with the beige interior, it’s easily one of the best-looking Ferraris on sale today.
