The full-size SUV segment has seen leadership from only one model, the Toyota Fortuner while all other cars haven’t even managed to sell a quarter of the Japanese SUV. With the current generation Fortuner on its way out and the next gen model around the corner, other SUVs in the segment are trying to make as much hay till the sun shines.

Ford launched the Endeavour earlier in 2016 and the SUV has managed to outsell the Fortuner in some months, showing clearly as to the acceptance of this vehicle. The Ford Endeavour has taken a giant leap in this generation and is easily the best SUV in its class. Ford has now hiked prices by up to Rs. 1.62 lakhs with the base 2.2 4×2 MT Trend getting costlier by Rs. 1.37 lakhs, priced at Rs. 25.01 lakhs.

Meanwhile the Trend variants of the 2.2L 4×2 AT, 2.2L 4×4 MT and 3.2L 4×4 AT are costlier by Rs. 1.12 lakhs, priced at Rs. 25.51 lakhs, Rs. 26.61 lakhs and Rs. 27.66 lakh respectively. A price hike of Rs. 1.37 lakhs has been done on the 2.2L 4×2 AT Titanium which now costs Rs. 27.51 lakhs while a heft price hike of Rs. 1.62 lakhs has been done to the top spec 3.2L 4×4 AT Titanium model of the Endeavour which is now priced at Rs. 29.77 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

This price hike comes on the back of Ford reducing prices of the Figo and Aspire to the tune of Rs. 50,000/- and Rs. 91,000/- respectively. The change in prices are effective immediately and the Ford Endeavour is a CKD model with some amount of waiting period being there for the Titanium variants.
