All those who were stunned after watching the Buggati Chiron’s video showing its prowess, here you have the Hennessey Venom F5 which has been claimed as the fastest road legal hypercar. After putting in all the creativity and enthusiasm in the building process, Hennessey finally managed to come up with a car capable of laying out a mammoth 1600 HP. The company has recently unveiled the scalpel with a compelling video which shows the stages of its making and finally showing its moves in the winding hill roads.
Hennessey Special Vehicles team has worked rigorously in achieving the target of making it the quickest machine ever built for the road. The cutting-edge design, chassis and carbon-fiber body of the Hennessey Venom F5 contribute to the pace it is capable to achieve. Mind you, going by the figures shown by the company, it is faster than any Formula 1 race car.
Coming to the numbers, the V8 twin turbo mill of the Venom F5 belts out 1600 HP of power and is mated to a 7-speed single-clutch paddle shift transmission. All this setup makes the Venom go all the way to a top speed of 482 km/hr. The 0-400 km/hr speed is achieved in under 30 seconds while the 0-300 km/hr run is done in less than 10 seconds. Its 1338 kg weight gives it a commendable power to weight ratio. All these intimidating figures make the Venom F5 actually venomous for a novice.
The video released by the company shows the whole process of the behemoth in making. Starting from the design stage to converting it into a real model, everything has been represented with a nice melody in the background. Also, it has been showed searing the road through the mountains and as you can see, it does have road presence. To maintain its exclusivity, Hennessey will perhaps roll out only 24 models of the Venom F5 which will have an eye-watery price tag of over $1.6 million (Rs. 10.3 crores exclusing taxes).
