Hero MotoCorp is looking to expand the Glamour range with the new Xtec variant
Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch the Glamour Xtec model soon in India. The new variant will come in fresh colourways and with more features than the regular version.
The leaked brochure of the 125cc motorcycle’s new variant states that it will feature an LED headlight, while the bodywork will be untouched.
However, there are 3 specific colour choices which will be offered with the Hero Glamour Xtec and they are – Grey Blue, Grey Red and Techno Black.
Another new feature that the Xtec model will come with is the digital instrument cluster while Bluetooth connectivity will also be offered.
Mechanically, the Hero Glamour Xtec will be identical to the regular variant and thus the 124.7cc, single cylinder motor will continue to make 10.73 HP and 10.6 Nm of torque.
But, the bike manufacturer claims the engine is 2 percent more fuel efficient due to what it calls the ‘X-Tech’ fuel-injection system. The gearbox will remain a 5-speed unit and Hero’s i3S and Auto Sail features should be offered as well.
It goes without saying that the Hero Glamour Xtec will cost more than the regular variant which is currently priced between Rs. 73,200/- and Rs. 78,500/- (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
