Honda has issued the recall to replace the faulty reflex reflector on the 2-wheelers

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced a recall for 8 of its products to replace the reflex reflector fitted to them.

Two-wheelers that come under the recall campaign include Activa 5G, Activa 6G, Activa 125, CB Shine, CB300R, Hornet 2.0, H’ness CB350 and X-Blade that were manufactured between November 2019 and January 2021.

According to Honda, the reflex reflector fitted in the above vehicles is at slight variance from the required photometric provisions, thus, resulting in insufficient light reflection efficiency.

Although, the Japanese automaker claims that the impact on vehicle visibility, due to the issue, is insignificant, it has nonetheless decided to replace the reflex reflector on all the affected units as a precautionary measure.
