Hero Xpulse 210 Price Reduced After GST Revision, Now Priced From Rs. 1.62 Lakh (ex-showroom)
The Hero Xpulse 210 is now more affordable due to the recent GST reduction on two-wheelers below 350cc. It comes in two variants, i.e. Base and Top previously priced at Rs. 1.76 lakh and Rs. 1.86 lakh. After the revision, the prices are Rs. 1.62 lakh and Rs. 1.71 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom).
The new Xpulse 210 significantly upgrades over its 200cc sibling in nearly every way. The motorcycle offers stronger engine performance, improved handling, and better ergonomics. Modern features included in the motorcycle enhance comfort and adventure capabilities.
Engine
Powering the Xpulse 210 is a 210cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine from the Karizma XMR. The engine produces 24.2 HP at 9250 rpm and 20.7 Nm of torque at 7250 rpm. A smooth six-speed gearbox pairs with the engine.
A steel semi-double cradle frame with telescopic front forks and a linked rear monoshock is used in the motorcycle. It features disc brakes at both ends with three ABS modes, i.e. Road, Off-road, and Rally. The bike weighs 168kg and holds 13 litres of fuel.
Market Competition
The Kawasaki KLX 230, which has also become more affordable recently, is its closest rival. However, the KLX feels outdated in terms of design and technology. The Xpulse 210 clearly emerges as the more advanced and capable option.
