Honda has issued a recall over oil gauge and cooling fan cover issue.

The Honda Activa 125 BS6 was launched in September 2019. The scooter has now been recalled over oil gauge and cooling fan cover issue. Honda will also update the owner’s manual of the scooter.

The Japanese bike maker’s website states that the oil gauge and cooling fan cover of the affected bikes will be replaced. The exact issue is not yet clear.

The whole process of inspection and rectification will take 30 minutes at the service centre and the replacement will be free of cost.

Honda will individually contact the owners for recall. You can also check if your scooter is affected on the official website of Honda by entering the VIN number.

The Honda Activa 125 BS6 comes with a 124.9cc engine that produces 8.52 HP at 6500 RPM and 10.54 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM. The scooter is priced from Rs. 67,490/- (ex-showroom).
