The automotive industry is struggling quite hard in recent times. The BS6 transition is a big game changer in the industry. While Honda has updated a lot of its products to comply with BS6, almost 14 products of the bike maker is yet to be updated.
Out of these 14 models, 7 are confirmed to get an update. These bikes include – Honda X-Blade, Hornet 160R, Livo, Dream Yuga, Dream Neo, Grazia and CB 300R. One of the Dream series bikes might get discontinued though.
Some of the two-wheelers that are likely to make it to the BS6 era include Honda CD110 DX, Aviator and Activa i.
The two-wheelers that are confirmed to get discontinued include Honda CBR250R, Unicorn 150, Cliq and Navi. These models couldn’t sell in big numbers. It wasn’t feasible for the Japanese bike maker to update these products to BS6.
We can expect Honda to introduce updated models gradually once the COVID-19 situation improves in the country.
