Honda has unveiled the CB500 range of motorcycles in their product line-up. The CB500 range has three types of motorcycles – a roadster CB500F, a sports bike CBR500R and an adventure bike CB500X.

The CB500F roadster has a new overall styling. The headlight is more angled and side shrouds very cleanly merge with the fuel tank. The CBR500R is also redesigned and it draws many cues from the CBR1000RR Fireblade. Whereas, the CB500X is a purpose-built adventure bike.

All the three motorcycles come with new rear suspension, slipper clutch, full LED headlights and taillights, LCD instrument cluster with gear position and shift-up indicator and new exhaust muffler.

The Honda CB500X comes equipped with a 19-inch front wheel, long suspension travel both at the front and rear, wider steering angle and rugged fairing.

These bikes will be powered by a 471cc parallel-twin engine that is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Honda has reworked the intake and exhaust, installed new fuel injectors, as well as changed the valve timing so that the engine can produce more low to mid-range power and torque. Whether these bikes will make their way to India or not is still not confirmed yet.
