Honda Livo BS6 launched, price starts from Rs. 69,422/- (ex-showroom, Jaipur) for the entry-level drum variant. Honda is gradually updating their BS6 lineup. Last week they introduced the new Honda Grazia BS6 and now it is the new Livo motorcycle with BS6 update.

The motorcycle is available in 2 variants – Drum and Disc. There are four colours on offer – Athletic Blue Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic and Black. The Japanese bike maker is offering 3 years standard + 3 years optional extended warranty.

The bike gets an updated styling with new front visor, chiseled tank shrouds and new graphics. The mild updates give the bike a fresh look to it. However, there are no substantial changes over its predecessor.

There is a new digital analogue instrument cluster. Honda is offering new DC headlamp which is claimed to be brighter. There is a new engine start/stop switch with integrated engine kill switch. It also comes with integrated headlamp beam and passing switch.

There is a new service indicator which glows once the bike has passed the specified distance for service. The seat is now longer by 17 mm adding to the comfort of the rider and pillion.

The new BS6 compliant engine comes with ACG starter with programmed fuel injection and friction reduction technology. There is an HET tubeless tyre for improved fuel efficiency.

Honda has now revealed the engine specs and it is the same 109.51cc unit borrowed from the CD110. It produces 8.80 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 9.30 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. Mated to a 4-speed gearbox.

It has a ground clearance of 163 mm, kerb weight of 115 kg, 690 mm seat length and 790 mm seat height. There’s 9-litre of fuel tank capacity.
