After announcing a new product launch for 30th September, Honda has sent us a teaser of the exhaust note and we’re sure it is the new Rebel 300.

If you notice, the exhaust note sounds like a single-cylinder engine and it’s a cruiser for sure.

It will take its styling cues from the elder sibling Rebel 500. You can expect Honda to offer a digital instrument cluster, LED headlight, LED tail light and LED turn indicators as well.

The Japanese bike maker is preparing to grab some market share of Royal Enfield with this new offering. Honda is expected to price it around Rs. 2 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The cruiser is expected to come with a 286cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that produces 30.4 PS at 8000 RPM and 27.4 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

It will be retailed via the premium dealership network of Honda Big Wing.
