Hyundai Alcazar Launch
The car has been spotted many a time

Looks like Hyundai will soon be done testing the Alcazar and launch it by June in the domestic market. Thus, early examples of the production-spec 3-row SUV are expected to arrive at the carmaker’s dealerships across the nation by May this year.

The car has been spotted on test numerous times already and will be offered in both 6- and 7-seat versions. A recently spotted test mule gave us a clear picture of how the interior of the finished article will look like.

When it comes to the 6-seat version, 2 captain chairs will be present in the second row which will be separated by a console featuring a centre armrest. The console will have a wireless charging pad, cup holders and storage space.

Space in the third row seemed wide enough to accommodate adults and the seats also had adjustable headrests. But, the legroom seemed to be limited. However, we cannot be sure about either that or the cargo volume with all 3 rows of seats in place until we have a personal look at the finished vehicle.

However, the dashboard will likely be similar to the Creta, while there will be different upholstery on offer, along with a myriad of features.

On the outside, the Hyundai Alcazar should have distinguishable elements like a different front grille, revised front bumper, a new tailgate and split tail lamps.

Expected to feature the same powertrains as the Hyundai Creta, the new SUV is also expected to feature advanced driver assistance systems in top-spec variants.

When the Hyundai Alcazar launch takes place, the model will sit above the Creta in the carmaker’s lineup and rival the 2021 Tata Safari and the MG Hector Plus.
