Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Asta CNG price is costlier than the non-CNG Asta variant by Rs. 92,000/-

Hyundai has silently launched the Grand i10 Nios Asta CNG for a price tag of Rs. 8.45 lakhs (ex-showroom). Built based on the 1.2-litre Asta Manual variant, the all-new CNG variant costlier than the former by Rs. 92,000/-.

Earlier, CNG was available only on the Magna and Sportz trims. They were priced at Rs. 7,16,100/- and Rs. 7,69,800/- (ex-showroom) respectively, costlier than their respective petrol-only counterparts by about a lakh Rupees.

As far as features go, the Grand i10 Nios Asta CNG gets the same ones on the regular petrol manual Asta trim. They include projector headlamps, 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, rear chrome garnish, and rear washer/wiper.

Further, the features include LED DRLs, ORVMs with electric fold and integrated turn indicators, roof rails, blacked out pillars, and shark fin antenna.

Power is down by 14 HP and torque by 19 Nm from the regular petrol variants

On the inside, an 8-inch infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leather wrapped steering wheel, adjustable rear seat headrest, smart key with push button start, wireless charging, USB port, and cooled glove box are part of the package.

In addition to retaining the features of the regular Asta, there are some downgrades as well. The 5.3-inch console has been downgraded to a smaller 2.8-inch unit like what was done to the Sportz CNG variant. Further, the boot lamp has been given the miss.

Power comes from the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine that exerts 68 HP and 95.2 Nm and mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Power is down by 14 HP and torque by 19 Nm from the regular petrol variants.
