Hyundai has not had any launches for some time now but with BSIV emission norms coming into effect next month, the company will upgrade its cars to Bharat IV. Along with the upgrade, Hyundai India will also be launching a new variants of the Santro as well as the i20. The new Santro variant will be dubbed the GLS with Audio and will feature an audio system with USB port and 4 speakers. This variant will come at Rs. 9,999/- premium over the normal GLS. The i20 1.2 will get three new variants Era (the new base variant) Sportz and Sportz with alloy wheels. The Sportz variant will be positioned over the Magna and below the Asta. The Asta (O) will continue to be the top model of the i20.
