Hyundai Venue CNG
Second generation Hyundai Venue

Hyundai Venue N Line launch will take place on 6th September, it will alongside the i20 N Line in Hyundai’s lineup

After tasting some success with the i20 N Line launched last year, Hyundai is gearing up to launch the Venue N Line coming 6th September. It will sit on top of all of the current variants of the second generation Venue launched recently.

Like the i20 Line, the upcoming Venue N Line might get a lot of sporty updates with some tweaks to the suspension and exhaust as well. The compact SUV might ride stiff for better highway manners and for confidence inspiring cornering.

Power might come from the top-of-the-line 1-litre turbo petrol engine mated solely to the company’s DCT gearbox. The i20 N Line, on the other hand, has the option of Hyundai’s iMT gearbox as well. The sporty SUV will come in 2 trims – N6 and N8.

The turbo mill might be made to sound a little louder along with a dual-exhaust tip. The car is expected to get the N Line nomenclature at all places possible along with Red stitching on upholstery, and Red inserts and/or accents on areas like roof rails and bottom panels.

Like the i20 N Line, the car will come with redesigned Diamond-cut alloys for a sporty look from the sides. Expect an all-Black theme on the inside with Red elements. But, the overall design inside might be same as the regular Venue.

As far as features go, expect all the features of the current top-end variant of the Venue to go into the upcoming N Line. They could be the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected tech, LED projectors headlamps, etc.

When launched, the Venue N Line will sit alongside the i20 N Line and compete against the likes of the Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun in the sporty SUV segment. It might command a premium of Rs. 1-1.5 lakhs (ex-showroom) over the regular Venue trim-wise.
