The 2019 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross has been spied in India. The images give out more details about the upcoming facelift of the V-Cross. The upcoming version of the pick-up truck is set to get a 1.9-litre diesel engine which will meet the BS4 emission norms when launched. There will be options for both manual and automatic transmissions, where the 4×4 variant gets the AT.

The engine on the 2019 V-Cross will be updated at a later stage to meet the BS6 norms which are set to be implemented from 1st April 2020. This engine will replace the 2.5-litre diesel engine in the current iteration of the D-Max V-Cross. The 2.5-litre engine delivers 134 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque. It is available only with a 5-speed manual transmission set up.

Coming to the physical changes to the 2019 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross, it will get a new refreshed front end. It will also get projector headlamps along with LED DRLs. The front bumper, grille and tail lamps will also be updated. The updates will make its appearance more in line with the current UK-spec model. The interiors of the 2019 V-Cross also get a host of updates. The seats are treated with new black-brown leather covers and the cabin also gets black plastic inserts which will replace the silvered elements in the current model. The top variant is likely to be called Prestige.

Additionally, the 2019 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross will get a host of safety features like ABS, EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Hill-Start Assist, Hill-Descent Control etc. Airbags on the Front, side and curtain airbags will also be on offer. The vehicle will also get parking sensors and reverse parking camera, push-button start, automatic air-conditioning, cruise control and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is currently available in two variants viz. Standard and High. The 2019 model is expected to go on sale in the coming few months. The current Standard variant is priced at Rs. 15.32 lakhs and the High variant is priced at Rs. 16.82 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). With the inclusion of the new features and the automatic transmission, the prices will likely go up for the D-Max V-Cross range.
