Jaguar I-Pace Bookings
This is the first all-electric SUV from the British brand

Jaguar has opened bookings for the I-Pace, its first all-electric SUV, in India, today. It has also revealed that deliveries of the EV will commence from March next year.

To be offered in three variants, namely – S, SE and HSE, in the country, the electric SUV has a large 90 kWh Lithium-ion battery.

The two permanent magnet synchronous electric motors that power the car produce a combined output of 400 PS and 696 Nm. This enables the EV to do the 0-100 km/hr sprint in 4.8 seconds.

The British firm claims that a single full charge of the battery provides a range of 470 km on the WLTP cycle. For the battery back, Jaguar provides 8 years/ 1.6 lakh km warranty.

I-Pace customers will be offered a 7.4 kW AC wall mounted charger when they purchase the car (EV can accept up to 60 kW DC charging) and further, they will benefit from complimentary 5 years service package and 5 years Jaguar Roadside Assistance as well.

Features offered with the AWD EV include 10-inch touchscreen for Pivi Pro infotainment system, digital driver’s display, HUD, Jaguar Remote app, Active Suspension with Adaptive Dynamics, Adaptive Surface Response, and a whole host of connectivity, driver’s assist and safety features.

Stating that it is committed to providing a worry-free EV experience to its I-Pace customers, Jaguar has gone on to partner with Tata Power to provide home and office charging solutions.

Tata Power, as part of its “EZ Charge” EV Charging network, has installed over 200 charging points across 23 cities in the country and the network is fast expanding.

These charging points are located at present at malls, restaurants, offices, residential complexes and along highways.

With the Jaguar I-Pace bookings commenced, launch of the car will likely happen next year, followed by deliveries from March 2021.
