Jaguar does make some beautiful cars

Jaguar has imported the first unit of its I-Pace EV to India in order to commence extensive testing and validation of the car across the country.

To be launched by March, the electric performance SUV, which is the top-spec HSE variant and finished in Firenze Red, has landed at JNPT near Mumbai.

Bookings for the model officially began 2 months ago and Jaguar said it will launch the EV in 3 variants (S, SE, HSE) in India.

While it looks ravishing from every angle on the outside, the I-Pace has all the latest kit on board inside, such as a 10-inch touchscreen for Pivi Pro infotainment system, connectivity tech, digital driver’s display, HUD, and several other more features.

Equipped with a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery, the I-PACE has 400 PS and 696 Nm at its disposal (by way of 2 electric motors), which is enough to help it sprint to 100 km/hr from nought in 4.8 seconds.

Claimed range that the Jaguar I-Pace EV can cover in a single charge is 470 km and the carmaker provides 8 years/1.6 lakh km warranty for the large battery pack.

People who buy the Jaguar I-Pace EV in India will be offered a 7.4 kW AC wall mounted charger, a complimentary 5 years service package and 5 years roadside assistance as well.

Going the extra mile, the British firm has joined hands with Tata Power to provide home and office charging solutions through the energy provider’s EZ Charge network.
