Mahindra owned, Jawa brand is all set to return to the Indian market on November 15.

The Czech manufacturer, Jawa is coming back to India with a new motorcycle. The launch of this motorcycle is scheduled on November 15, meanwhile, the test mule of Jawa 300 motorcycle has been spotted testing ahead of the launch.

The design and overall appearance of the bike are very much similar to the old school Jawa bikes. The bike comes with round headlamp, round mirrors, round indicators, spoke wheels and rear shock-absorber covers for the retro appeal. The twin exhaust setup and the shape of side covers remind you of the iconic Jawa bikes.

The bike gets conventional telescopic front forks at the front and gas charged twin shock absorbers at the rear. The instrument cluster is expected to be an analogue unit. The braking hardware consists of a single disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear, the bike is expected to come equipped with a single channel ABS, thanks to the government’s new safety policy.

Powering the bike will be a BS-VI ready 293cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that churns out 27 BHP and 28 Nm of torque. The gearbox on this bike will be a 6-speed unit. The bike will be launched on November 15 and the price is expected to be around Rs. 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, the bike will rival the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Bullet 350.
