Jeep Meridian Track Edition launched with cosmetic upgrades & same diesel engine
Jeep India has introduced a limited-run Track Edition of the Jeep Meridian SUV in the Indian market, with prices starting at Rs. 35.95 lakhs (ex-showroom). The special edition is derived from the range-topping Overland variant and is offered with an automatic transmission only, in both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations. It carries a premium of Rs. 34,000 over the standard Overland trim. Bookings are open through dealerships and online channels, with an additional mandatory AXS pack priced at Rs. 9200.
The Track Edition primarily focuses on cosmetic enhancements. On the exterior, the SUV receives piano black detailing on the grille, badges and body mouldings, along with a new hood decal and Track Edition badging on the tailgate. The overall design and dimensions remain unchanged from the standard Meridian.
Inside, the cabin gains revised upholstery and trim elements aimed at offering a more premium finish. Updates include suede accents on the dashboard with contrast stitching, dual-tone leatherette and suede seat upholstery with quilted patterns, dark espresso highlights and piano black bezels. The steering wheel now features Cortina leather wrapping, while Track Edition branding appears on the dashboard and floor mats.
Mechanically, the Meridian Track Edition remains unchanged. It continues with the 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 170 HP and 350 Nm, paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Feature equipment is also carried over from the Overland trim, including a 10.1-inch infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, Alpine sound system, panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, and Level 2 ADAS. The SUV is also covered under the Jeep Confidence 7 ownership programme, which includes extended warranty and service-related benefits.
