MUV Sales June 2020
Maruti Ertiga and Mahindra Bolero step down one position compare to May as Eeco leads the chart

June 2020 UV sales witness some revival in the segment. From 76 percent degrowth and 8230 units sold in May 2020, the numbers are now better with 16,727 cumulative sales and 41 percent decline in YoY sales.

The Maruti Eeco hits the top spot with 3803 units and 59 percent fall in YoY numbers. The Maruti Ertiga and Mahindra Bolero fall one position down with 3306 and 3292 unit sales respectively.

The Toyota Innova Crysta is one position up compared to May 2020 with 2085 units sold and 57 percent decline in YoY sales.

The Renault Triber is down to fifth position with 2064 units. Meanwhile, Ertiga’s beefed up version Maruti XL6 scored 1198 units.

Now many of you would be wondering what is the Maruti Gypsy doing in the list with 718 unit sales in this BS6 era. Well, Maruti Suzuki has supplied a fresh batch of Gypsy to the Indian Army.

Kia Carnival is surprisingly doing well in these tough times. With 161 units sold in June, the sales has improved 3x compared to May 2020.

Datsun GO+ is the worst hit car in the chart with 51 units sold and 77 percent degrowth.

The Toyota Vellfire has also churned out decent numbers of 49 units. Mahindra has still not despatched a single unit of the BS6 compliant Marazzo.

We are expecting strong growth in the coming days which will help in sharp revival. Currently, the supply is not able to meet the demand in the current scenario because of production constraints.
