After the much awaited debut of KTM 390 Adventure, the Austrian brand is gearing up to introduce their entry-level adventure motorcycle KTM 250 Adventure. The bike will be launched in India in mid-2020.

The KTM 250 Adventure has been spotted on test multiple times in India revealing the components of the motorcycle. In terms of styling, the lower capacity motorcycle looks identical to its elder sibling, the 390 Adventure.

It shares the same chassis and body panels with the 390 including the fuel tank, radiator shroud, belly pan and tail section. The substantial difference between the two is the halogen headlight in the 250 compared to the LED setup in the 390.

The 250 Adventure will also get a different paint scheme just like the Duke 250 and Duke 390. What’s exactly the same is the alloy wheel design and the tyre size of 100/90/19 front and 130/80/17 rear. Both the bikes also use a non-adjustable 43 mm USD fork and a pre-load adjustable monoshock.

The 250 Adventure also gets off-road ABS and TFT display but it remains to be seen if it will get the quickshifter from the 390 Adventure.

The KTM 250 Adventure will share the same engine with its naked sibling which is a 248.8cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 30 HP and 24 Nm of torque.
