Mantra Racing, a motor racing and automobile design house based in Bengaluru, has introduced bolt-on performance upgrades for KTM motorcycles. These performance parts are suitable to both the Duke and RC 390 as well as the Duke and RC 200.

The performance parts include a Stage 1 ECU for the KTM Duke and RC 390 priced at Rs. 12,000/-. This considerably enhances the low-end power delivery and the mid-range torque while having only a minor effect on the fuel efficiency. Installation of the Stage 1 ECU results in a power and torque output of 55 PS and 39.2 Nm respectively. For perspective, the stock KTM 390 bikes make 43.5 PS of power and 36 Nm of torque.

There is also a Stage 2 ECU available for the Duke 390 and the RC 390 priced at Rs. 12,000/- again. This ECU wheb paired to a TBM drop-in replacement filter will increase performance but not affect the mileage. This performance part along with Mantra Racing TBM (tuned by Mantra) air filter and a Titanium exhaust churns out 55.9 PS of power and 38.2 Nm of torque.

Coming to the parts available for the Duke 200 and the RC 200, there are Stage 1 and Stage 2 ECUs available, both of which are priced at Rs. 9500/-. The company also offers TBM replacement panel filters, with synthetic woven cotton polyester filter, painted in Mantra Racing Blue with superfine SS312 black mesh. The whole assembly is priced at Rs. 2700/- and comes encased in a high temperature resistant EPDM rubber gasket. Do note that these parts would enhance performance with very little impact on the mileage and they do not negate the company warranty as well.
