Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster

Lamborghini has introduced the open-top version of its Fenomeno, expanding its limited-run ‘Few Off’ lineup with a roadster that combines electrification with a naturally aspirated V12 engine. Following the coupe revealed in 2025, the roadster retains the same headline performance figures while adopting structural and aerodynamic revisions to suit its roofless configuration.

Production will be capped at just 15 units, making it even more exclusive than the coupe, which was limited to 29 examples.

The roadster closely follows the visual identity of its coupe counterpart but incorporates several functional updates. Lamborghini has reworked the upper body surfaces and added new aerodynamic elements to maintain comparable downforce levels despite the absence of a fixed roof.

A redesigned flat windshield integrates a small spoiler that redirects airflow away from the cabin and towards the engine bay, aiding cooling. The front end continues to feature sharp lines, large air intakes and hexagonal design elements, consistent with the brand’s recent design language.

Along the sides, prominent air channels and sculpted sills contribute to airflow management, while the elongated rear section draws inspiration from track-focused Lamborghinis. The rear design includes boomerang-style tail lamps, a centrally mounted hexagonal exhaust and an active rear wing to enhance stability at higher speeds.

Specially developed Bridgestone Potenza Sport semi-slick tyres are fitted, with staggered 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels.

To compensate for the structural changes required in a convertible, Lamborghini has introduced a revised chassis using a combination of carbon fibre materials and a proprietary composite process. According to the company, this allows the roadster to maintain rigidity levels close to the coupe while adding only a marginal weight increase.

The updated construction also aims to improve energy absorption in the event of a collision. Lamborghini notes that this material technology is being used in this hybrid configuration for the first time in one of its production models.

The cabin layout remains largely unchanged from the coupe, following Lamborghini’s “Feel like a Pilot” design philosophy. The interior features extensive use of carbon fibre across the centre console, doors and seats, along with aircraft-inspired switchgear.

The roadster is equipped with a three-screen setup, including a digital driver display, a central infotainment touchscreen and a passenger-side display. Contrast stitching and supportive bucket seats highlight the focus on performance-oriented ergonomics.

At the heart of the Fenomeno Roadster is a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine paired with three electric motors, forming a plug-in hybrid system. The combined output stands at 1080 HP, making it the most powerful open-top Lamborghini to date.

Power is delivered through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, while a 7kWh battery pack supports the electric motors. Despite the additional reinforcement required for the open-top design, performance figures remain unchanged from the coupe. The roadster can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hr in 2.4 seconds and reach a top speed exceeding 340 km/hr.
